What is the Kansas City Chiefs 2023 AFC Super Bowl champions 2023 T-shirt it is in the first place but most sensible? If we discount Secular Humanism as a religion, then I would have to say Tibetan Buddhism. I’ll rely heavily on this story told about the Dalai Lama and Carl Sagan. I can’t remember if I read it from one of the bios on Sagan, or one of Ann Druyan’s essays—but this is of course paraphrased from my memory. “Even then,” the Dalai Lama replied. But then he chuckled and said it would be really hard to disprove reincarnation. Now I’m not a Buddhist, because there are still extraordinary claims made without any objective, testable evidence, but at least Buddhism, at least according to the Dalai Lama, seems to have within it the ability to change and embrace scientific facts when other religions resist. It took the Catholic Church 359 years to admit that Galileo was right.

Not all atheists are against religion. I attend two churches regularly, and am the Kansas City Chiefs 2023 AFC Super Bowl champions 2023 T-shirt it is in the first place but proud father of an ordained minister. My parents raised me with a Christian background, however I am not Christian. I read through the gospels (the foundation of Christianity) and did not agree with what they said. It isn’t anything personal against Jesus (and his religion), but my opinions on how to live my life differ than his. I used to hate religion; the whole idea that there was a supreme being in the sky that controlled everything (and especially that we were not to question this) seemed a little weird. I believe people use the words of a God (take your pick) to justify their actions as right, whether or not those things actually were. The whole idea of a god had a fault; people could make interpretations to holy texts, and often these interpretations might not be what was meant. What I do believe in is people. People have the ability to change the world around them, with simply their minds. We have much to offer the world, and I don’t mean in the “we only use 20% of our brains” kind of way. The only thing that matters in life is how you treat other people; especially how you make them feel better (in every way and form possible). What we have to offer the world is our love and compassion for others, for with that we can build a better world.
